We made reservations a week in advance for a party of 15. Knowing that they have no tables that seat 15, we asked for two tables side-by-side so that we could celebrate my grandson‘s 18th birthday. RecommendedThe family and I went to Sumo this evening. We had filets and garlic fried rice. Dinner was very good, had an amazing Chef and we sat with a fun family. Postive experience will definitely go back! Give Sumo another try!!
I’m not one to review a business but we were so highly disappointed. Reservations at 6:30, didn’t sit till 7:15, very warm room. Cook Was quiet and boring. Dirty plate which I sent back and asked for another one which I’m pretty sure they just sat on the table next to us because another guy had the same complaint. Vegetables were good. No AC had customers waiting for hours and then in extreme heat with no fans around hot fiery grills. No sir and hungry people is a terrible mix. More concerned for staff as well working in these confidential with masks in this heat. As a business owner you have to do any and everything to accommodate to the customers and staff. I hope everything’s ok to not have air flow at all or ac. Using to go Lids as fans is just terrible. Hope things get better soon.
The worst experience I had at sumos the service was horrible waited hours for simple things like straws to drink my water. Wait time to sit down was two hours. Once seated we did not get soup or salad for 45 minutes, no apology or sympathy from any of the staff. When the manager was confronted about the issues we had she simply blew it off and said there was nothing she could do and they were understaffed. We love sumo sushi and noticed their sushi menu wasn’t online anywhere so here you go!
Thank you to the staff, bar tenders, chefs, manager for the excellent service & kindly accommodating 19 of us!!! The food was EXCELLENT!!! I highly recommend Sumos!!!
Horrible customer service and unsanitary! The cook was very rude. They definitely treat black people differently. Kobes is the only hibachi place I will eat.
