I have two summit tree stands, both climbers. Never one time have they let me down. I feel confident using summit. Coupled with safety harnesses and lifelines, summit is hard to beat for safety and hunting experience.

I had only used cheap big box store stands all my life, figured there couldnt be that much of a difference in stands. I bought my first viper sd this summer and have used it 6 times so far this bow season, and all I can say is wow! easy to climb, easy to carry, and so comfortable! literally like having a lazy boy 30 feet up a tree. I now see what all the fuss is about.

costumer service is very poor. they have very poor attitudes. I am in need of a replacement openshot top for my stand. they want to charge $189 just for the replacement top. I can buy the whole stand brand new for $179. I don't need the whole stand I just need the top. I will not pay $189 just for the top I'm done with summit.

Hunted for a long time out of old hand me down climbers and always had a hard time on long sits. Bought a Summit Viper SD and have put about 30-35 hours in the tree with it. I’m impressed with how comfortable it as. It’s super easy to use and adjust. The boot hooks work way better than any strap. Overall I’m pleased with my purchase!

Quite, lightweight, durable and safe stand. Love my Summit Viper with the foot rest.

I purchased 3 hang on stands 3 years ago. 2 of the seats have fallen apart. I contacted Summit to PURCHASE replacement seats. After talking to 3 different people and trying to talk to anyone who can actually help me, I'm out of luck. The stands I purchased cost over $200 a piece and now are absolutely worthless! They don't carry the seats anymore, which leaves me out of a lot of money.

I love there stands and have for 20 years, I finally broke down and bought a brand new one at a show in Harrisburg over the winter and opened it up today and the back strap harness to carry it around was not in there and it’s kind of important. I don’t think they are that expensive but was told it’s been more than 30 days and I don’t have my receipt anymore. And the person on the phone acted like it didn’t matter to them. I paid for a new stand and just want what I was suppose to get with the stand. Just really frustrated wh... read more
