What a joke trying to reach them. I have emailed them, sent a Facebook message and tried calling them and no response. I submitted a request for new shooting rail hardware as the plastic screws broke and the metal brackets broke on one side. They asked me to send pictures and I did, it’s been about 3 weeks now and they won’t respond. I am not sure how a company could operate like this. Nice treestand but the customer service is lacking. They sent me a defective seat and never returned my email or messages.
I found a defect in the top portion of my viper SD. I cannot get anyone in customer service to answer the phone or call me back. Does anyone have a recommendation? Needless to say I am shopping for a new tree stand and don’t think I’ll buy a summit because of the poor service and product support. They seam to care more about selling to Cabelas and retailers than the consumers that use the product.
I would not recommend summit treestands. I bought an almost $400 tree stand which had a defective part out of the box. I’ve called them 9 times...I left a call back number twice with no response and the other 7 times I got caught in an endless loop of “hitting #2 to speak to someone” and it just repeats the same message over and over every time you hit #2. RecommendedI'm not sure who these other people deal with, but I spoke with Frances in customer service about an issue I was having with a stand. She took care of me promptly and was very helpful. Got me the part I needed sent out ASAP. I'll be sticking with Summit.
