Good thing I look all my tree stands over every year to the best of my ability. Sad when you can’t leave a tree stand on the tree through the winter with out it freezing and busting don’t think I will buy any more Summit tree stands. my apis have never done this. brand new stand wasted.
RecommendedLOVE the stand... Only issue I have is that I’ve ordered new parts and things for my stand and have had HORRIBLE customer service... Hell I can’t even get ahold of any one.. I’ve emailed twice and called 5-6 times.. have waited on hold for 20+ mins and didn’t even get to speak to anyone.. I never even received and confirmation email about my parts.. they took my money as soon as I made the purchase but I don’t even know if my items are coming!!!!!!!! Getting irritated
Nice stands, BUT... DO NOT expect any customer service if you have any problem whatsoever; they do not care about customer satisfaction. I contacted them regarding why one Viper tree stand came with substandard arm and front pads when the other three (my son and 2 nephews) came with better pads purchased in the same relative time window. All were manufactured in 2016 & 2017. 'Bethany', the service rep. basically told me buyer beware! Was not even offered an option to buy the better pads. I use my viper to rescue animals out of trees. This is me descending after rescuing a cat that had been up a tree for a week. 50’ up.
I had a summit peak lock on up for one season. Part of the stand got damaged and summit will not sell parts. I was told to buy a new stand! For the money i spent on this stand it would be nice for them to stand by their customers. Will not purchase another summit.
Best stands hands down.
I’m sitting in my brand new Mammoth XL hang on stand and it’s awesome!! Plenty of platform and seat room!!
One feature that is overlooked is weight, Summit makes the lightest stands out there. If you are a hunter hanging stands alone without luxury of help, this is your brand. The quick attach system makes hanging them a breeze as well. Well done Summit👊
