Suffolk Secrets aka Original Cottages aka I rented a house in Halesworth - it has BEDBUGS. Homeowner blatantly denying. My 6yr old child had a severe allergic reaction and was put on steroids after a referred trip to paeds a&e. SS/OC relying on homeowner’s pest control report before refunding me and NOT taking any care or weight to my child’s reaction. Really poor experience with Suffolk Secrets - they didn't reply to emails with an issue with our booking and when we finally got through via the phone they were aloof and not helpful. Don't use them.... Airbnb alot more responsive and more protection for guests.
Terrible agency. I was trying to find a suitable property and had a couple of queries on two that we were considering. Despite chasing this three times, my questions remain unanswered. Anyone who has a property with their agency should look elsewhere. Glad to say I found another property which meets our needs through a local agency, also 20% cheaper than very similar one (on the next road) with Suffolk Secrets.
Another wonderful stay at Guillemot an excellent property which is in a great location and has parking. As always the accommodation is top rate and the owners do a superb job of making you feel very welcome .
