We didn't realize upon planning our trip that the park would not be open to its full activities. Only the sky ride and museum is open during this time of year on the weekdays. We were not the only ones there that arrived to find this out. However, we did utilize our day by hiking off trails and visiting the top of Stone Mountain.

My family and I have been coming to Stone Mountain Park for years, and we have always enjoyed ourselves. I am sad to say that we have made our last trip. The rallies that are being held more often there make us feel unwelcomed. It is sad what had become a wonderful family destination is becoming known again as a welcoming place for that type of activity.

I am extremely disappointed in the snow mountain!! We have been twice and the first time it closed due to weather. I understand but we come several times a year and the cost of the tickets were extremely expensive for no more than we got. No train no mini golf nothing was included . Most of the stuff was closed even the drink places . I felt like it was a rip off. 7 lanes were closed .we went down 4 times in one hour because the lines were so long . This is one of out favorite places to go and this time I was very disappoint... read more

The name will throw you off its not an actual mountain with snow but a spot to small for all the people they let in. Maybe an acre of hard ice rather than snow. Was pretty dissatisfied with it.

Last yr we went and it was great but this year when we went it was not as great. The people working tubing were not very friendly but the worst part was the conveyer belt that u take to top was broke and it was horrible! The lines was long and bottle necked because of it and people were pushing thru and 1 side was not even being used. And don't think I'm complaing because I'm overweight, I weight 117 lb. We complained to numerous people but they didn't seem to care... it was just, I'm sorry. We will not return!
