What a awesome place you can just feel the history !!!
Unfortunately, Google lists the park hours as closing at 8:00 pm, each day. After spending most of the day in Atlanta, we wanted to see Stone Mountain late afternoon. Wrong! Arriving at 5:00 pm we were told all attractions closed at 5:00. Yes, other sites have correct hours, just disappointed to drive this far for nothing.
I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH STONE MOUNTAIN MANAGEMENT. wE TRAVELED 5 HOURS TO GET THERE, RENTED A MOTEL ROOM AND ORDERED TICKETS ON LINE THE NIGHT WE ARRIVED 8/10/16, PAYING 86.38 FOR 2 ADULT TICKETS PLUS PARKING, WAS NOT TOLD THAT THE PARK WAS CLOSED, EVERYTHING BUT SKY LIFT. tHE OFFICE WAS CLOSED, OR SO WE WERE TOLD BY THE YOUNG LADY AT THE SKY LIFT. I ASKED FOR A REFUND SINCE WE COULD NOT USE THE TICKETS, BECAUSE EVERYTHING WAS CLOSED, SHE TOLD ME SHE COULD ONLY GIVE ME A PARTIAL RFUND. wE WASTED A 5 HOURS DRICE, A RENTED... read more
We have been going every year 5 to 7 times a year since 2006..we love how its family outdoor fun.
Segway has arrived!! If you have any interest in alternative vehicles, now's your chance to ride a Segway and see the *other* side of the mountain! My husband and I enjoyed the 2 hour Segway Tour of the Park on July 31st. We could not have had a better time. We saw points of interest we didn't know existed, and got to check off the "Ride a Segway" item on our bucket lists! Such fun! Don't miss it! Our Segway guide was absolutely perfect.

Would have loved it, except for the southern boys. The view is awesome. I love walking there.
