Love Stone Mountain! We go every year before Thanksgiving. Such a great place for families!
Our first visit was awesome! Exceeded my expectations! Next time I will stay on property.
Love it!!! The Christmas lights are beautiful, and soooo much fun for the little ones. It is a wonderful family fun Christmas destination. So many things to do and see. And very friendly staff! The parade, is by far, off the chart, awesome! However, I didn't give 5 stars because there were two things that weren't so great. First of all, my 4 yr old daughter wears glasses, and the 4D glasses wouldn't stay on her head over her glasses. We have never had that problem with any other 3D or 4D glasses anywhere else. 2nd time here as a family and it's as bad as the first. Staff is horrible. One tells you one thing and then another tells you the opposite. It has become over commercialized and they are out to make money instead of the history they use to be about. Don't think we will be back with the lies they tell. They also do not honor their rain check policy, and therefore you lose your money even when everything is closed down. Really sad you can't take the family camping and just have fun anymore.
I always love going to Stone Mountain every season however Christmas time is my favorite. I wish during summer they works bring back Tall Tales at the 4D theatre because that was the best one. But overall its a great place to take family. I also think it would be a great idea to add horse drawn carriages to the Christmas Park so those who wish to see the lights could without losing their parking spot.
My family went to the Christmas event Saturday and we all had a blast. The lights were awesome, the employees were all so friendly and helpful. My favorite play was the Christmas Carol, I laughed so much!!! The Christmas carol sing along train ride around the mountain was so much fun, I lost my voice! The light show walk through was great, especially for kids. I highly recommend visiting this holiday season! Thank you to all the wonderful staff of Stone Mountain, yall did amazing!!!
Absolutely perfect. The campgrounds are beautiful . gorgeous view of the lake and mountain. we stayed in a tent last year bringing the RV this year. Thank you.
Great educational attractions and the employees are super friendly & helpful.
We had our honeymoon there and stayed at the Stone Mountain Inn.
