Security is a serious issue at this park. If you are in a wheelchair you are not checked at all. Not for anyone that is handicapped, no elevators and hills are very steep. Shops and food are way over priced. The best part was the stone mountain, but it took a major effort to reach it in a wheelchair. The train either needs a new driver or serious maintenance. Would not waste my time or money going there again.

The staff at Stone Mountain park (Summit Skyride) are fantastic. We had a medical emergency and they were helpful, respectful, and quick with their assistance. A big thank you to park police and paramedics for their help. Disappointed that we had to leave the park an hour after we arrived and purchased passes for the day, but we will definitely be back.

We spent 4th of July weekend in the campground and were busy all weekend with various things in the park. Everything was fantastic! All the staff members everywhere we went were phenomenal! All smiles, very pleasant and always helpful! Sky lift great,Ride the Ducks was fantastic, laser and fireworks were terrific! Tim made the campground delightful, Ann was in the historic square garden and had tons of helpful information for us. Trying to remember everyone's name, our waitresses in both restaurants were great! We will be back... read more

The laser and fireworks show was great. I do have some issues though. There should be signs upon exiting to point out directions to the named parking areas. I didn't know which way to go with all of the people exiting and got lost. I would also recommend advising people that have never been that they may have to walk a long way from the parking lots. We did not know this and didn't have a rolling cooler. I also feel that having staff available to help people exit. I couldn't find a single person to ask where to go when I was... read more

Bought tickets for a group of 10 on the Missouri Terrace. It was perfect. We had to get there at 7pm to grab all the seats together and the parking was a hassle but it was worth it! Will, a staff member on the terrace, was extremely helpful and kind to all on the terrace. He really helped to make the experience special. :) The show was amazing and the finale was literally a blast. I did have one important question at the end of the night though... And she said yes! Thank you Stone Mountain for helping to make the perfect pro... read more

We were there last night for the laser and fireworks show. WE LOVED IT. We live in Florida but I was raised in Ga. Your celebration brought tears to my eyes and made me very proud to share in your blessing. Thank you all. Makes me want to move back to Georgia.
