Thanks for ruining a Christmas tradition! I've been coming here for years to enjoy the lights and was looking forward to bringing my daughter only to be told it was going to cost about $100 for a family of 3 to enjoy the same thing that's been free for years.
Well... We went here last night. I was absolutely floored by the prices. This was so not worth the money we spent. Staff was rude and very unhelpful. When we go somewhere like this we spend a good deal of money considering we have 5 kids plus us. I won't be going back anytime soon. Next year Lake Lanier will get our money.
Went for the Christmas lights and plannned to eat while there. A little more organization in th food service area would work wonders to accomadate the many guests desperately trying to give the park their money. Also, sneakily closing restaurants early so that we could not get the treat we had been waiting on is not very professional Thank goodness the onsite manager Monita graciously offered to prepare it for us
Ironically we are from Orlando and our favorite family park is hands down, Stone Mountain Park! Outstanding service, fun shows, and clean as a whistle. We are especially fans of Snow Mountain! We will be back for sure!
Friendly staff, tons to do, beautiful scenery. Loved it and would definitely come again!
We went the Saturday after Thanksgiving and although we enjoyed the lights and train ride, there wasn't much else that was impressive. I agree with a comment that it used to be about the history and was better maintained years ago. We went into a bathroom that was in serious need of repair. With the money they make on admission and all the other extra costs once you are inside, they could do a much better job. Made be kind of sad.
WE went on Friday December 2, 2016, and it looked like nobody was there. No employees anywhere and we had to park on the other side of "Snow Mountain. All the other parking lots had signs up saying closed.
Beautiful view and exercise! Gradual incline, great for all ages!
