Came down on holiday my little girl was poorly. Called 111 they said to go to the GP. Found the GP practice so helpful, they really did look after my little girl. Thanks so much to the whole team really appreciate it.
Very difficult to get through on the phone, seems no one wants to pick up, however I have seen they are short staffed on regular occasions, so forgive them that. . Visiting in person, the receptionists and pharmacist are all very pleasant, going out of their way to sort things out. The online service for contacting the surgery and for repeat prescriptions seems to be offline a lot, had a look today 12th Aug 2025 and it says it is offline. Very difficult to get through on the phone, seems no one wants to pick up. There is too much emphasis on the profile pages to having contact made by the automated online appointments service, which is also often offline. The online booking service is only of use to people with access to internet, which many elderly do not have or use. Also sick people might be to sick to go online and need to phone to talk to someone.
Not happy with treatment on Tuesday this week left feeling upset and annoyed would like to complain but not sure how
