A deeply unprofessional experience. Communication was consistently dismissive, abrupt, and lacking even the most basic level of respect. Rather than resolving issues through dialogue, they escalate immediately—ignoring facts, disregarding efforts already being made, and offering no meaningful engagement. I have now had experience of two buildings with SEM - they took over the first building from a very poor and expensive management company, and have been excellent so far in their management role - at a much lower cost. The second building, we had yet again another poor and expensive management company. We asked SEM to help us to organise a Right to Manage company. They have completely arranged this on our behalf, and taken us through the whole process smoothly and efficiently. They will be taking over the management shortly.... read more

One of the worst management companies I've ever had to deal with. Actively ignore phone calls. They're currently dodging solicitors questions as we are trying to sell the flat which is causing direct harm to the sale. Don't respond to emails but when it comes to bills and claiming their fee for doing nothing they're suddenly very proactive

Unfortunately my experience echoes many of the other negative reviews here. Water damage to my flat was allowed to continue for months on end despite chasing them. Sterling's eventual response was to cover up the water damage with lining paper and paint over it! They're dishonest and attempted to carry out works to my flat without my consent. Honestly, it's something I would expect from a rogue tradesman not a Management Company.
