Dr. McCollam did a thorough exam of my arm issue and took time to describe what his opinion was. He was not rushed and gave good options to me based on his experience. His office was exceptionally clean and well-staffed. A great practice and I had a great experience. Short waiting time even though I was a new patient.

Dr McCollam listened to my concerns and after exam, offered several treatment options. He has a caring manner and answers questions thoroughly.

Dr McCollum is one of the finest physicians I have ever been treated by. Very kind, compassionate, with a very calm demeanor. He has been treating my arthritis and his treatment is conservative in approach. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. His staff is very friendly and courteous, as well.

Dr. McCollam certainly lived up to his credentials. He knew exactly what was causing the pain in my hand. I thought I would need surgery, but he gave me a cortisone shot. This eliminated the pain. He indicated that he likes to take a conservative approach first, and that surgery should be a last resort. I have complete confidence in Dr. McCollam's advice. I will be seeing him again in a few weeks for a shoulder issue. I highly recommend Dr. McCollam to anyone with upper extremity issues.

I have seen Dr. McCollam for arthritis in both hands and my shoulder and my partner has had two hand surgeries. As a patient, patient advocate and health care provider, I can vouch for his competency as well as patient centric practice. For example, he takes patient notes via a recorder at the end of each visit and actually gave me a hug when he updated me after my partners surgery. I would recommend him without hesitation. Dr. J

Dr. McCollam is absolutely delightful. He was warm, present and attentive. I felt like I was talking to a personal friend - and - he did a wonderful job fixing my hand. His staff was also personable and prompt. I highly recommend both Peachtree orthopedics and especially Dr. McCollam!

I am not satisfied with Dr. McCollam for several of reasons. A few years later now and both conditions still didn't fully recover. I am still having pain in both areas. Dr McCollam gave me a steroid injection which did not work. The physical therapy didn't work. He was also impatient and rude during the appointments. He got up and left to treat another patient when I was the patient he was scheduled with. Find another doctor. This one is impatient and rude.

Absolutely incredible. I'm a right handed dentist who broke his right hand...not great for business. Dr. McCollam and his team were perfect -- I was able to get an appointment same-day on Saturday, and I was in surgery on Monday. I had virtually no pain after the surgery; I was in a removable splint in 2 weeks, and I barely missed work. 4 months out I'm like my old self again. The scar is tiny and diminishing quickly. I am so grateful to have landed in Dr. McCollam's highly skilled care.
