Dr. Stephen McCollam is the best hand surgeon ever! Over a year and a half ago I was involved in a car accident. The airbags deployed and my right ring finger was shattered. I'm so fortunate for 2 reasons: the accident could have had much worse results and through extremely thorough research online, I found Dr. McCollam, who performed 2 different surgeries as a result of this accident: the first surgery put my finger back together again, and later carpel tunnel surgery. Dr. McCollam even came in on his day off to remove 2 pi... read more
Dr. McCollam is an outstanding physician in his professional field. To me, he always provides 5 star service with patience, caring and professional skill. Also he is friendly, warm and cheerful. During last 5 years, I am not just receiving efficient treatment from him, also have learned useful knowledge from him to take care myself better. Simply great service!
Dr. McCollam and his staff are warm, thorough and easy to work with. From the front desk to the examine room (and even the OR) Dr McCollam and his staff are very professional, kind and compassionate. I would highly recommend Dr Mccollam!
I have been going to him for years! He is the best. Friendly and very caring. I would not go to any one else. I also consider him a friend. I would not go to anyone else. After three surgeries and a broken bone or two, Dr. McCollam as well as all the other doctors are great.
I drive 2 hours each way to use the doctors at POC. Dr. McCollam and the staff have been a pleasure to work with, thorough in his explanations, and surgery was as stress-free as surgery can be.
Dr. McCollum was very friendly and caring, he took time to thoroughly explain my issue and how it would be treated.
I was seen by Dr. Stephen McCollam for a broken finger & was treated with excellent professionalism by him & his thorough staff. I was made to be comfortable throughout the entire procedure. As a person that has never experienced a bone break in the past that was extremely important & appreciated. I would definitely recommend Dr. McCollam to anyone. Thanks again Dr. Mccollam.
I had a work related injury from catching a falling patient. I injured my rotator cuff and tore a tendon in my bicep. Dr. McCollam worked me in the very next day! He spent at least 30 minutes with me going over my MRI and my treatment options. I had never had surgery before, I felt a lot of anxiety. He & his office staff (Jeff) were phenomenal at putting me at ease. 3 wks post op, and I’m healing well. I work in a hospital, he’s the best doctor I’ve ever worked with (professionally or as a pt).
Dr. McCollam is by far one of the best doctors I've been to. He's very good at diagnosing problems with few costly tests. He prefers the conservative approach before suggesting surgery. Dr. McCollam explains things well and makes you feel as though you're his only patient. Highly recommend.
