I went in for a somewhat emergency visit after having metal extracted from my eye and looking to get a second opinion from an ophthalmologist (vs optometrist who performed the metal removal). Dr Forstot was able to get me in quickly and spent ample time to ensure everything was healing correctly. Very knowledgeable and great peace of mind knowing you are being treated by the best.
My appointment started on time, woman testing my eyes was efficient, Dr. explained what results were and finished final tests easily.
I have been seeing Dr. Forstot for many years. He is an exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled physician. Dr. Forstot is a leader in clinical trials and in his pursuit of advances in the ophthalmology field. Personally he is a kind and gentle man.
I went to Dr. Forstot after finding out I had keracontosis. I was very apprehensive but Dr. Forstot explained the condition in detail to me, calmed my nerves, and went over a treatment plan that meets my needs. I left feeling confident that I made the right choice for the care I need.
He immediately sent me to a specialist with what could have turned into major surgery if it had not been addressed.
