I am very fortunate to have been a client at The Lighthouse July/August 2024. I have been to a few treatment centres in the past and at The Lighthouse I found a safe place run by an experienced and compassionate team. My time there was invaluable and helped lay the strong foundation I needed to continue my journey in recovery after I left. I am full of gratitude for all the staff - they all went above and beyond to make we feel welcome and were always on hand to help 24/7. Thank you!

I spent just over five weeks at the Lighthouse to start my recovery journey from alcohol addiction. I had been in another residential treatment centre previously, but without success. The staff at the Lighthouse worked hard with me to address reasons for my relapse and also encouraged me to embrace my recovery with positivity rather than the shame I felt. I took a close friend of mine to Step by Step recovery in December and this addiction treatment center truly changed his life. Simon and the rest of the staff is nothing short of amazing—compassionate, supportive, and genuinely invested in his healing. He felt seen, heard, and cared for every single day. I am approaching 5 years sober, and recently I've come back into contact with the lighthouse on behalf of a struggling alcoholic. He is due in tomorrow, and the staff ensured they had all the details they needed to process him efficiantly and effectively. I am so happy for him. This is a truly magical place.
