I had an appointment set up for over a month and they call me a Friday late afternoon before my appointment on Monday to tell me they no longer accept my insurance assholes could have called a week ago
I was running late due to the crazy construction work on the freeway and I called to ask if I can still be seen before I wasted gas going... they said yes and I was in and out in about 2 hours or less! Being squeezed in between spots! Thank you! The Maryland location is asweome with sweet caring staff!
Genius at Steinberg (Tasha at Siena location) said I can't sign docs for my husband even with my power of attorney. I explain he had a stroke, can't read, has global aphasia, etc. Her response, "he can just use his left hand then to sign." That's not how it works and 2 seconds talking to him would have given her enough understanding to see that holding a pen isn't the problem. BUT she was totally cool with letting me sign his credit card slip without checking my ID. Way to embarrass and make a patient feel horrible!!!
Made me wait an hour & a half ... that is ok , but when my turn finally . told me my Medicare choice wouldn't work there. had to go elsewhere. Can I have that hour & a half of my life back ?
I had to wait far too long to get this test scheduled....only to get there yesterday and they didn't have the right referral in place. So now i have to jump through the hoops to get the right referral in place and go back again. The staff was very friendly and professional during my visit. I just don't like the fact that they told me that they called me way back 3 months ago to schedule but there is no record of the call and now it could be another 2 or 3 months before the next one gets scheduled. I thought they where very professional and the nurse was so nice and so was the doctor I had a biopsy on nogels on my thyroid and they let me know what was happening!
I've heard and read mean things about the staff... and I have experienced talking to some rude staff over the phone but can't say my personal experience was anything close to bad... the staff were friendly and helpful...
