I have never been sworn at before from a taxi rank in my life. I rang to query where my taxi was after waiting for ages. The response was disgusting even though we had a call from the driver saying he had been given the wrong address.

Brilliant experience yesterday . 5 adults going to Durham station taxi arrived 7 mins early . Pick up was 90 mins late due to delayed train, driver rang me 3 times to check timing and to reassure that he would pick us up. Excellent service

I telephoned Steels taxi company to advise one of their vehicles was taking up two parking bays and I was finding it difficult to find a place to park my car. When I returned to my vehicle two hours later the taxi van was still parked in the same spot along with another taxi van parked in the same manner. I telephoned the company again and a different person answered the phone. I asked if I could speak to the manager and explained why. I was shocked to receive a very abusive response. Following a drop off and return booking, Steels taxis left my family stranded late at night at an out of town venue following a wedding. We tried to contact Steels and even spoke to a driver who ended our call mid conversation and would not pick up again. We contacted Steels the next day to complain, the person we spoke to was extremely rude and swore at us. Disgraceful company and customer service do not use.
