Amazing place to have a wedding, or really any event! Great staff; great owners; great atmosphere. Go there, and you will fall in love with the place.
Was in on Mother's Day and the food and service was great we had a cute young server and I left her a great tip ($60) I found out from a friend that they keep all their credit card tips for the house. They don't give them to the servers at all. Which is crazy. They get enough from the guests. Why do they get to keep the tips? This was very disappointing to me because this place is lovely and great for painesville. Lesson learned if I do ever go back to only tip in cash.

The Steele Mansion is absolutely beautiful. The detail, craftsmanship and authentic furnishings brings one back to that great time. Carol and staff make you feel so welcome and they have great food and drinks. One of our favorite places.
5 star elegance and hospitality. The rebuilt mansion is furnished with the most exquisite antiques and the place is immaculate! Absolutely the most gorgeous and cleanest historic hotel I have ever seen.
