Love the food but the service is slow. Less than 15 tables and it took forever to get a server to take our drink order. I'd hate to see a real busy rush
Just waited 15 minutes for a server to even come over to greet and get our drink orders. 8 tables in the place with 7 workers just standing in the corner, one of which was the manager. I am so sick of crappy service, i miss the days of at least decent service. Shaking my head!
Great food at a great price, as well as decor and service.
Compared to the Edgewood location, you guys need to improve! The wait can be a bit much at both but West Lansing, sometime I think you are waiting for the eggs to be laid and the cow to be slaughtered. Plus, Edgewood actually fills up the breakfast tacos. West Lansing, sometimes 2 of your tacos equals one at Edgewood. Still good and if there was nothing to compare to you, I would just think Steak and Shakes are that slow. Just speed it up a little!
I come here all the time if it's late and I'm super hungry. Yeah they take a while to make stuff but it's always delicious and I just love this place. One of my favorite stops.

It is great to be seated and then not acknowledged again, 10+ minutes and no drink order, restaurant was NOT busy. Completely unacceptable.
Well, we got here over an hour ago. Food was great I've been sitting here for the past 20 mins waiting for a shake I payed for when I payed for my food, and one of the workers came up to me and asked why I was waiting, and when I said my shake he said they haven't even started making it.
The service here was exceptional the server did a great job keeping our beverages filled at our table pre-bussed ,also did not come over to constantly bother us for our order as most of the servers here at night doing and have done in the past.thank you!
