Sunday Oct 27 2019 we ate at the Sedalia Mo Steak n Shake, the food was ok but wow the restrooms are terrible. The smell outside the restroom door was enough to loose your appetite, it smells like sewage, I told the waitress and she said they could not fix the problem, I think the health department could help. The smell was clearly sewage gas.
RecommendedWe love this place, but not so much today. We (there were three of us) and two other people left without ever even being acknowledged. An employee even walked in as we were standing there and she didn't say anything to anyone about all of us waiting to be seated. So we all left after a few more minutes of being ignored. It wasn't even that busy, so that's not an excuse.
Very slow getting your food but it tasted great

Our waiter was more interested in flipping his hair than doing his job. It was painful for him to offer refills. Poor service but food was decent. He didn’t ask if we wanted drinks to go. I don’t recommend visiting this location.

We sat at the counter in front of the grill cooks. During our visit we saw the cooks handle raw hamburger with their hand and then handle buns, bread, etc. cross contamination from raw meat. Additional after handling the raw meat they would touch other equipment. Concerned about the safety and quality of what is served at the Sedalia location.
good food and service. Restroom stalls both didn't have locks on them, and there was trash on the floor, including an open dirty diaper!🤢🤮
