This isn't our first problem with wait at this establishment. We actually are sitting at the drive through as I write this. 10 minutes for two shakes is unacceptable at a shake place that isn't even busy. We were the only ones when we drove up and now there are 5 cars waiting.
The floor has trash all over it, the bathroom is disgusting. The people sitting behind us left a note on the table that says waited to long so we left. This is the worst steak n shake I have ever been too.
This place is extremely dirty, floor looked like it hadn't ever been cleaned and was sticky. Waited 10 minutes to be seated then another 10 to actually order. Finally got food 45 minutes later and then noticed the glasses both had several chips around the rim and both had lipstick smeared around the rim. Evidently they didn't get washed at all. Not going back ever....
Lobby is extremely cold, waitresses are more intent on talking to one another than checking on customers. Horrible service.
WAtched the guy ( Red head) on grill cooking everything. Walk into the backroom, drink something with his gloves still on. Then come back on the line and start cooking without changing his gloves. Had to wait 10 mins to be seated, when we sat at the counter, still had to wait another 10 before anyone said anything to us let alone got a drink order........ Worst service ever. One door to enter and exit all patrons, complete bottleneck. This really slows things down, especially having to wait to be seated, even at the bar. The food leaves much to be desired. The shakes were alright though. I enjoy the Liberty, Mo location better.
