My experience with this practice can only be described as abyssmal, on numerous occasions I am told Oh, it's not on record or it's been missed. Order repeats online and it takes over a week for them to send it to the Pharmacy, told to call for a fit note Oh, it's not on our records. The service has improved here over the last 12mths. The GP's I've seen are good and the pharmacy is great. They seem to be a bit more attentive to phone calls or maybe better resourced than a year or so ago. Some of the team go above and beyond to help get workable appointments, particularly the practice manager.
This practice is not a safe or supportive environment for neuro-divergent patients, particularly autistic adults. In my recent experience, I was visibly distressed and struggling with autistic burnout, but instead of being met with understanding or accommodations, I was met with blame, misunderstanding, and escalation. Staff misinterpreted signs of my distress as threatening behaviour. I suffer with anxiety and depresion which at time can seen unbearable to deal with. When ever I've contacted the surgery to make an appointment or sort out medication I've always found both receptionist and doctors to be very understanding, caring and patient with me even when I’m at my worst. Station view is a great practice and I'm very grateful to them.
so had throat surgery and consultant said i may need a coarse of antibiotics. called station view to get some antibiotics was told to go to ANE and wait in triage OMG this place is a joke!!!!!! so went down after waiting 29 minutes on hold so drove to hinckley and walked in place was empty and there lady’s chatting and my phone was still ringing not being funny but FFS🤬🤬🤬🤬
