Insanely long wait, over 4 hours!!! I got there at 830 pm and lest at 110 am. Some cool visuals but I wouldn't go back even if it were free. Unorganized and they weren't ready to handle this many people their opening weekend. Not worth the wait or your time. Do yourself a favor and stay home.

HONEST REVIEW PEOPLE. To start get there early like 6-630. You'll get right in a bus. Second don't buy VIP. Your wait time is the same but compared to other major haunts like Basement of the dead you don't literally walk right up to door you wait, so why pay VIP? So the main line took me about 10 minutes, and I was there at exactly 7. The walk through the woods was really awesome and spooky by lacked soo many actors.... literally they could make just that 5-10 minute walk through worth it the whole thing. So that honestly wa... read more

I don't even have to write a review. Everyone already said it. 3 hours for the bus and then we got there and they said it would be about 2 hours more to get in but they really didn't know. This was for VIP. It's a groupon but someone should be able to answer questions while you're waiting for the bus to tell you it's a 5+ hour wait overall. We got to the actual line and got right back on the bus. Never went in. 6 x $39. I'd really like to know how I get my money back.

Waited almost 4 hours in line. Rushed through the house. One real actor per room. Poor planning. Poor acting. Awful. Don't waste your money. Not one scare from a group of 7 girls and 2 boys. Plus only about 3 walking characters walking around outside. Low budget haunted house. Not worth the wait in line and in the cold.

Joke !!! Dont waste your time or money . Before the actual haunted house there were (4) lines to wait in.Line #1 Start time arrival at train station (8:40) actual bus pick up wait time 1:12 mins. Line #2 Bus drop off had another line for will call another 20 mins.Line #3 Line to go into the outer haunted house.Line #4 and my clock reads 12:47am and we haven't even gone inside the haunted house and were still in line .Now lets add no toilet paper if u have to use portapotty.

"Haunted House" doesn't do it justice. It's a haunt, it's a fully interactive theatrical experience, it's an adventure, it's a thousand little detailed works of art that add up to one incredible work of art. Go now, later you'll be able to brag you were one of the first. People will be coming to see this from far & wide for years to come.

The scenery was awesome, and the whole concept is very cool, but the lines are absolutely ridiculous, it really does take away from the whole experience. I understand this is a reopening but, we must have waited in six separate lines all taking over 45 minutes, in total we were there for a little over 4 hours, with only about a half hour's worth of attractions. The characters did a good job, and again the scenery and props were totally awesome, but I would not do again it was exhausting standing in line all night.

Unfortunately we were disappointed! We waited in 4 different lines which amounted to 3hrs to just make it in to the house that lasted at the most 30 mins. The beginning started off great but ended horribly! U slide down to the basement to just go on a stupid 45 second hunt for a key (u get ur money back if u find it) to then just led into a gift shop!!! they really should of expanded the basement and done a whole other set. They really need to figure out how to lessen the wait time and expand the house. Statesville is aweso... read more

Update: Groupon will give a refund! We gave a full explination of the never ending line waiting for the bus. The biggest question that remained, what was the point of a fast pass? We go to haunted houses every season, we love them! Hell's Gate is the only one I've ever given a bad review. One hour and $40 later, we had the pleasure of seeing the Lockport train depot and a Metra. No, really, that's all we saw. This was with the fast pass! If you're the neice of Uncle John, and 25 of her closest friends you get to the front of... read more
