Got a groupon for a vip fast pass. If I had paid full price I'd truthfully be disappointed. We arrived around 8 and stayed in line until 11. Took a crazy bus ride and got out to wait in another line. Spent about 35 minutes there before we walked through the path (effectively sprained my ankle going through because it's dark and it isn't a clear path) , then an actor ran into my friend with his shovel (he apologized, but she has bruises on her shoulder), finally we stood in yet another line for an hour. 1am rolls around and w... read more
Save your time and gas and toll money. At least have some entertainment while waiting in line or food. This was crap!
Parking was just horrible! We got told to go park at city hall and once we arrived, we got told to go back because there was parking now. (But yet we still couldn't find parking) . We had the "fast pass" but wait about 3 hours at the train station so get picked up by the buses. Literally 4 hour wait to enter the haunted house! There were about 4 lines, not worth it at all!
Get there (the metra lot) an hour early and you'll be fine. In and out within the hour. It was well worth it, these reviews are from people who waited the whole night. I loved it!!
Had a great time with my kids.....they had a great time which to me is most important. I do have a complaint about @$$holes smoking in line. GRRRRRRRR! Ignorance! Other than that....a good time and entertaining.
More like hellacious waste of time. Literally waited in line for 6 hours. Cemetery was empty and lame and the zombie infested forest had 2 people. Definitely not worth it. Save your money and more importantly your time.
This is my favorite time of year and my husband and I go to about 5+ haunted houses every season. We bought "VIP" passes to skip the line at Hell's Gate and waited THREE AND A HALF HOURS to get in. Skip this haunt unless your idea of a good time is waiting 2 hours to get on a "scary shuttle" (yellow school bus) to go to the "mansion" (warehouse with half-assed decorations). The cemetery part could have been cool if they had more than 2 actors out there to entertain everyone who just waited 2 hours to get on a school bus only... read more
$35 for a VIP "speedpass" but line for normal tickets was shorter than the VIP. Waiting, more waiting and hey, MORE waiting. Just to get scared a couple of times and to go through a house that took like less then 30 minutes to get through. Then to WAIT again for the bus ride to the parking lot.
Request a refund. It's bullshit. "Tried" to go to the house last night with every other human being in the area who bought a Groupon which was a "fast pass". There wasn't a separate fast pass line, there can't be when you oversell. There was a line to get on a shuttle to take you to the house that was over a two hour wait. Then feedback from those who actually got there.... Standing in aisles on the bus to cram people in and three more lines once you got to the house to get to the different areas.
