Unfortunately we were disappointed! We waited in 4 different lines which amounted to 3hrs to just make it in to the house that lasted at the most 30 mins. The beginning started off great but ended horribly! U slide down to the basement to just go on a stupid 45 second hunt for a key (u get ur money back if u find it) to then just led into a gift shop!!! they really should of expanded the basement and done a whole other set. They really need to figure out how to lessen the wait time and expand the house. Statesville is aweso... read more

5 hours total time waiting. Can't even begin to describe how horribly unorganized this place is. Wish I could rate it zero. Should be called Hell'sWait

From start to finish our wait was nearly three hours (we arrived at 8pm). The waiting for the busses part was what really influenced my 3 star review. If I didn't have to wait so long I would have given the experience at least 4 stars. This was opening weekend however and there was a Groupon deal going on. We got the fast passes (with the Groupon deal) and the general admission line ironically was much shorter. As for the haunted house, it was cool. It was creative and visually appealing. The actors did a great job. Scream o... read more

I expected a lot more. Zombie army did pretty well at statesville in the past. There was a lot of hype and build up but it just disappointed. After parking we waited in line for a bus to take us to the houses location. The wait for the bus was an hour and 1/2. Once on the site for the house we bought express tickets. The express line was 10x as long as the regular. There were no haunts to scare you while you waited in line. Then we walked through the cemetery forest....like 3 haunted and was nothing but a walk through the wo... read more

It honestly wasn't worth it everyone. While the haunted house itself was well done it was only about a little more than 10 minutes long. The absolute worst part was the wait! First off the have no parking at the site of the house so you have to park at a metra station where a school bus picks you up to bring you to the location. We had to wait 2 hours in a line just for the bus! We had a speed pass but it doesn't help you any to get on the bus faster. Then when you get to the location you wait on another line the first of wh... read more

Crowd control was not good. A ton of people tried to cut and to cut down on the crowding they ended up just letting them go ahead of us anyway. The acting was pretty awesome but I found myself not being scared or startled. This was because they put literally 40 people through together. So you are in a straight line and can pretty much see where the creeps will pop out. The set up of the place and environment is good too but it was hard to enjoy anything else.

Get there early to avoid the lines. The haunt far exceeded my expectations.

We had 6 in our group and I purchased 2 Hell Passes so I could watch them be "victims". My son thought is was very scary they knew so much about him;-) This was an amazing fun experience for all of us. The house construction was great. The acting crew was awesome. THANKS ZOMBIE ARMY! The Smith & Lewis families loved it!
