Come and Wait for It. – Star Pizza's refusal to take reservations for large groups is infurating. Waiting time can be up to 30 minutes to an hour. They don't care. They do have a good product their pizza is stupendous. However their come and wait for it policy will make me think again before I approach this restaurant with a group. This come and wait for it attitude spills over to the wait staff as well.
JOe's Special is THE BEST – JOe's Special is the Best whole wheat deep dish pizza on the planet! It's a spinach and Garlic Pizza and even people who hate spinach love this one. Got to hand it to Star...
Da bong, dog! – I LOVE PIZZA! Tried 'em all, but Star is the best, my good friends. Waltz in on a sunny weekend, grab a breezy outdoors table, an artsy booth, or catch the game on the large screen upstairs. Munch some salad or goats cheese with a Shiner, then dig in the chunkiest, freshest, cheesiest (in a good way!), hottest most bestest pizza on earth. Staff is always shining, soft drinks are huge and atmosphere is laid-back. Remember, don't feed the animals!!!
This pizza is not worth the Hype that claims it to fame. Crust is doughy and rough. The inside of the resturant nice and eventful, good beer.
Great Pizza-Deep Dish & Flat – The house salad dressing is exceptional. Joe's Pizza is our favorite.
go margarita pizza go!!! – I blame Star Pizza for my "Pizza kick" I am in now...thank you. I used to never eat pizza, then I went with a friend after work and she introduced me to the Margrita Pizza. Now, I have tried many Margrita Pizza's all around town but will remain loyal to Star Pizza. Give it a try, it is amazing how a good pizza can put you in a wonderful mood!
yum yum – This was great pizza. The ambiance was cool too. We took our pizza out, but we stayed in the restraunt while we waited for our pizza. The only con is the location. It is kinda hard to park.
Best pizza I've had yet – I don't understand the bad reviews Star Pizza has been getting. I think their prices are very reasonable considering the quality of ingredients used. You can get a 14" for $12, that's cheaper than Pizza Hut. Especially considering they use herbs such as basil and rosemary. Yea the building is older, but look what part of town you're in. Good for normal pizza. – I didn't really see anything impressive about this place. I thought the pizza was small and pretty much overpriced. It was nice, however, to see it served in a pan for each person, but I wouldn't recommend this place over other pizzerias.
