This is the only theater I'm going to from now on.
I am a huge fan of Emagine Macomb. But this Royal Oak is a joke. They charge you for parking on top of you movie fee. They are disgustingly DIRTY come paired to Macomb. Obviously they don't clean between movies. Not sure I will ever come back here

Watch out for their parking enforcement, if you don't pay the $1.00 for parking and on a Sunday none the less, they give you a $35.00 parking citation. Won't go back.. good thing for me 35.00 is chump change.
There is a giant metal bar that runs directly across the bottom half of the screen in the Emax theaters obstructing the view when the seat is reclined!!!
RecommendedBEST. THEATRE. OUT HERE! i can't go to any other theatre now cz they DON'T have amaaaazing leather recliners or the Always Exciting DBox. Worth the money, the drive, everything.
I want to give 5 stars, I really do. But I can't. The whole reason I drove out of my way to go to this location was that I saw their "no kids after 6pm policy," online and was excited to see Finding Dory without having to worry about rowdy children ruining my movie. I was at the 9:30 PM screening, and was sat directly next to a toddler. The online policy says "no kids after 6PM," but the front doors say "no kids under 17 after 6pm unless accompanied by an adult." The only way to watch a movie at the theater: Emagine EMAX + Dolby ATMOS. The food delivery and bar service to your seat are just a bonus.

On 4/10/16, I received a parking ticket while I was in line paying for my parking spot. The ticket was stamped at 13:04 (1:04) and my receipt for parking is stamped at 13:10 (1:10). I gave the ticket and receipt to the manager. (I took photos of the receipts) Michael, the manager says he'll make sure that it gets taken care of, but as of today (4/22/16) it still hasn't been taken care of you.
