I am generally not one for large public theaters, but the Emagine theater in Royal Oak has made a believer out of ME. I really enjoyed the seating, the sound, the quality of the picture on screen and the atmosphere. The Staff couldn't have been more welcoming and professional. I will be a returning guest with friends and loved ones in tow who are also first run film fans who have become disenchanted with the movie house experience. Thank you.
The service was terrible. Nobody would come and take a drink order from us. It was very very dirty. Not digging this place

Well the theater lobby and concession stand was dirty. The worse I've ever seen. This theater is in my neighborhood and I've been pretty disappointed in the last year how it has gone down hill in appearance. The concession prices are so out of the park. MJR is so much cleaner and pricing is much fairer. It's a little bit of a drive but well worth the price. Sorry to say this since I can walk to emagine. Also four people working behind concession counter but only one to wait on us. Ridiculous

We bought the ticket online and arrived at the movie theater on time just to make circles around the parking lot for a spot. It's not at all clear how the parking system works and that we had to pay for a parking spot. However we finally found a spot but was 15mins late in watching the movie after it started. It should really be advertises about the parking spot on yhe website so that it's convenient for the customers, and that they can keep extra time on hand for parking.
