Not only do you get poor care while you are here, the billing staff will over charge you for everything they can. We just paid off some medical debt we owed, not even a month after we paid it off, they tried to tack on another $800 for services that were 2 years ago!! We had to have our insurance go after them to get them to stop. So people, seriously, check your bills, ask for detailed billing, because I promise you, they will add on anything they can, even if it was a service that was not provided to you.
I have been in the hospital and ER several times over the years. Almost always treated very well. The problem I have is that they assign doctors to me that are out of network with my insurance. How am I supposed to make sure that the person who does my labs or reads my X-rays are in network with my insurance. If the hospital accepts the insurance anyone working in the hospital should also be in network!
Shout out and thanks to the Doctors and Nurses and everyone else who took care of me in the ER last nite for some horrible nausea. Plus the sense of humor helped tons when they were removing the ekg from the jungle on my torso. :P Thanks a million, very professional and caring ER, much thanks.
Thank you to the amazing staff and their wonderful care. I have never had a bad experience here, and have always had kind nurses and doctors. I appreciate you all!
Slowest healthcare facility I've ever seen. In case of extreme emergency, go elsewhere.
Tonight my sister was misdiagnosed for the 3rd time, they lost her lab results, treated her twice with the wrong results, given her treatments for things she does not have, not given all of her prescriptions, forgot her note for work, the desk talking so loud with our door shut we could hear about other patients in the nicknames they gave them as they talk Shit, and finally refused to give names of the nurses/ doctors who were passive aggressive towards us and screwed up the whole night, so we could report about this situati... read more
It’s the most disorganized emergency room I’ve ever been in. The wait times are unbelievable. My husband had a gallbladder attack and is horrible pain and we waited 3.5 hours. When I asked how much longer it would be, because he was in so much pain, she said there were 7 in front of us and maybe quite a long time. We signed out and went to Stonecrest in Smyrna. Less than an hour for triage and registration. They are super organized here.
We brought our baby into the world here and the staff was wonderful!
