I will never send any member of my family to this hospital! I have never experienced anything like what happened today with my grandfather. First, you discharge a 78 year old patient at 9:45 at night after the family, that is very present, goes home for the night. Then, you decide to send him to an assisted living facility WITHOUT consulting or notifying the family. I am done with St Thomas Health and Ascension! I will gladly drive the additional 40 minutes to Vanderbilt.
when I went to pick up a patient of mine his pad was in the middle of his back to his shoulders. Also there were poop stains under where the pad should have been, under his butt, that he had been laying on for lord knows how long. see attached picture. that's after I got him cleaned up and in his wheelchair
When will St Thomas ever wake up and realize that the admin in Murfreesboro doesn't care about patients, families, or their staff. I have spoken to numerous admin, from Gordon Ferguson to The head of maintanence Jeff Fox. Why would I talk to him about a patient is beyond me. This hospital is a joke. I wouldn’t suggest sending my worst enemy here. Take the extra time and drive to stone crest!
Their equipment is broke and they are just feeding my wife pain pills until equipment “hopefully” gets fixed
Aug 29,2018--So the woman tells Dr. Z.T.G. that she can take Tylenol but can't take ibuprofen or Aleve because it might react with her methotrexate regimen. The doctor nods and writes a prescription for Anaprox DS 550mg which is a prescription strength version of Aleve. Two and a half hour wait in the ER lobby. One and a half hour spent in the treatment room.
Gave birth here and got C diff as my push present. Been to the ER twice and both times they took FOREVER to care for us despite one of the times screaming in pain.
