My mother was brought here after a car accident with a broken ankle and broken vertebrae in her neck. One order says weight bearing as tolerated the other says no weight bearing. One nurse says the urine analysis was negative the other says there is blood in the urine with a UTI. MD orders say pain meds every 2 hours. The rooms are half empty here and not a RN to be seen to give the pain meds. 2nd floor RN's...bad! I was there yesterday for ER service following a bicycling injury. The patient care service was excellent and Michelle the ER PA was absolutely fabulous and thorough. I would go there again.
Brought my husband in, on 4th of July, for a foot infection. Fast, efficient, thorough, kind, compassionate. He was admitted and settled in a room by 10:30. They came and apologized for the delay getting him to a room due to a few serious incidents occurring. The fact they came and explained blew my mind. Very knowledgeable nurses and doctors. I have had 4 surgeries at St Marys and would recommend this hospital to anyone. Great doctors and great nurses.
I would like to thank everyone at St. Mary Mercy Livonia for saving my Father's life on Wednesday. He was having chest pains which went to his back and wanted to go get checked out so I took him in immediately. They hooked him up to the EKG and determined he was having a heart attack. They worked on him and got him to the Cath Lab right away where they put 3 stents in his main artery lad (100% blockage) and 2 more stents in other areas.
