The ladies at registration in the emergency room were absolutely wonderful, I was taken in immediately and didn’t have to wait for a room. Thank you, for that I am grateful. Though absolutely NOTHING was done by the doctor for the pain I was experiencing, but prescribing me an opioid and sending me home. In for the fourth bowel obstruction in six months and the ER doctors, Sara my ER nurse and all of my nurses that took such good care of me were so kind and understanding! Doctors that saw me were great! Only problem is I have no insurance, no family to help, don't qualify for government assistance because my age, I'm not pregnant or have disabilities. I have called, emailed and even requested the financial assistance forms needed to try and get a PCP and Gastrointestinal Specialist but always got excuses because nobody knew ... read more

We have recently had 2 wonderful experiences at St. Luke's. My husband presented to the ER in August with vomiting/suspected food poisoning. The nurses and doctors were wonderful! My husband was treated (IV fluids, zofran & an abdominal CT), everything reviewed with a very thorough explanation by the doctor and discharged in a very efficient manner. I'm about 3 months late, but we were beyond impressed with St. Lukes, not only with the care we received when our baby was born from the ENTIRE staff (clinical to environmental), but I was also so appreciative of all of the classes and services they offered pre-baby to help us prepare for being first time parents.
