I have been here unit 9700 since Monday and one bad thing after another has happened. I have been here the whole time and will not leave until she is discharged. I feel she is unsafe and I have to act as her eyes and ears and mind to prevent something happening. She truly believes in her private dr and unfortunately this is the only place he is on staff. Beware

This place is a 5 star hospital they have awesome nurses and doctors. The step down unit has awesome nurses. And they provide awesome and excellent service and care for their patients. It’s the best hospital in Missouri.
Dr Sciortino did my hip replacement and it has been amazing. The whole process has been incredible, and they gave me Great confidence before the surgery and great support afterwards.
Excellent Doctors and very caring staff. Our experience from beginning to end was met with the combination of efficiency and professionalism. I felt liked we mattered. 5 Stars!
St. Luke's hospital goes above and beyond for their patients. My husband is a heart patient and in all the years we've been coming here (transferred from Barnes Jewish) they have always treated us like family. From the doctors, RN's, tech's, housekeeping, and kitchen people, they have always gone out of their way to accommodate us. They have always made sure I have had a bed to sleep in and even letting me stay in the bed next to him when his roommate was discharged. Spent 4 days in St. Luke’s including and emergency room visit on an extremely busy Saturday after noon. Tony the nurse who took care of me was great showing compassion and took the time to explain what was happening. The nursing staff once admitted was top notch. Compassionate, thoughtful and caring. Everyone took the time to inform me of what was happening and had time to answer our questions we had. World class hospital. The E.R. Staff despite being busy where kind, thoughtful and thorough.
I've read some of the reviews and some of them are bad, which is unfortunate. My wife and I had a completely opposite experience. We had our first baby yesterday, July 11th and the staff here has been incredible. Being our first child we are very apprehensive and worried about everything he does and every sound he makes. The nurses are super attentive and are always there to help, while simultaneously being completely out of the way to let you bond with your child. From the moment we walked through the door until we left, we were treated like royalty. Every person we encountered was pleasant and professional above and beyond. To all of the staff in outpatient surgery - you rock! I wish I could remember all of your names, but you know who you are! Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts.
