My daughter Claire Schnell was there most of her short life. It is the BEST place she could have been. I am go grateful for the time I had with her. I hope her experience can save someone else.
Business response:
Hi Ann - Thank you for sharing this very personal and kind story with us.
When I was 12 I spent 130 days in Children’s. Started in the ICU in late June and ended in the only single room at the time on the 12th floor. 10-30-02 I left in a wheelchair, came there as a “heathy” boy in a helicopter fighting some infection that made me septic. The doctors and nurses saved my life. I’m 27 now. Besides a few minor things I’m back to normal. Took 3 years to walk again. Any nurses on here from that time?? Love to hear from ya! Children’s is an amazing place!
Dr. Wiltrakis was amazing! Thank you for taking such great care of my baby.
Business response:

Happy thanksgiving to all of staff .. amazing hospital .. amazing people

Our room was filthy and room service refused to clean it. While our short 2 day stay we asked the staff to remove the same urine deposit in the bathroom, from a roommate that had been discharged, which they never did. My baby is severely traumatized by our experience here and I would not recommend anyon... read more

Mr. Zoellner - We are sorry, and embarrassed, that we missed this review when you first left it and we’re even sorrier to hear about your experience. What you are describing does not meet our service standards and we’d very much like to follow up with our staff to understand what happened. Are you willing to message us directly so we can learn more? Again, we are sorry to have let you down.

Thank you to all the wonderful people that took care of my son. All the nurses on the 12th floor were amazing and Dr Limbrick was such a blessing. I can't tell you how much I appreciate everything you all did.
