I was in a lot of pain and Mission did everything they could to make sure my stay was as comfortable as possible. Despite the late night hour that I was admitted, everyone was incredibly attentive & kind. If I'm ever in need again, I know where to go - felt very safe here.
Corporate interest over health care. In Asheville, NC, Mission Hospital fired the entire anesthesia department because they were contracted through All Care. Reduced benefits, pay, retirement and increased work hours. Over 90 CRNAs had to reapply or find work elsewhere, disrupting entire families.
I have been utilizing this hospital for 15+ years. Their level of professionalism and courtesy has declined a great deal in recent years. Hoag is a much better option.
Ev4 of my 5 children were born there. I recently had an aneurysm and stroke and thedoctors and nursessaved my life. The acutelrehab is the best and all of the nursing staff is amazing. They really treat you as though you were a family member. Best hospital around. I can’t say enough good stuff hjngs about it!!
we arrived at the ER at 1pm. we were taken into the ER at 5pm. it's now 7pm and my husband is finally having an ultrasound and has been given medication for pain. when they wheeled his guerney out of the ER room to take him for tests, we found the floor littered with Kleenex, bandages and empty product boxes. Gross. the hospital is understaffed, dirty and a tad archaic.
