We chose St John Legal for the conveyancing on our first home purchase and had a very difficult and disappointing experience. We experienced issues with incorrect financial statements, only corrected the evening before completion resulting in requests for thousands in additional funds after previously confirming all monies on account had been received, key emails being missed and not actioned and additional legal fees being requested after the initial quote. We used St John Legal for our sale and purchase and, we can honestly say, that this is by far the best conveyancing company we have used. They are prompt in responding to queries and proactive in chasing any urgent matters. Jovairia and Nina, who looked after our case, were both excellent. Special mention to Nina who really went out of her way to ensure things were dealt with quickly and efficiently, something that we found very refreshing compared with conveyancers we have used in the past
SJL's Veme Patel was one of the (very few) positives in what turned out to be a long, painful conveyancing process. Veme was professional, patient, and - most importantly in this case - persistent. Highly recommend.
Very very slow communication.. no reply to urgent emails relating to transaction
They get the sellers address wrong, council tax band wrong, very messy contract wording….. slow reply and only reply to half of the questions.
