Went in on saturday afternoon for severe infevtipn in foot. Seen in ten minutes. Had xrays blood work in a timly matter. I got antibiotic ivs. They couldnt have been nicer. Excellent care.
I recently was at the hospital for tests. It took quite a long time to even get the test done. Then it took forever for them to get the results to my doctor. I called them and the person on the other end was very rude. But within a few minutes I got a phone call from my doctor with the results. So if you get tests done at this hospital call and maybe that will get them to read the test. This hospital used to be a good hospital not anymore this is my last time there. When my dad passed a couple of weeks ago,I ran in to get help and they were right there trying to save him. They also allowed the family in the room and they also had food and drink from the cafeteria for us. Also Thank You ER staff Dr Robshaw and everyone else
I have been going to this hospital since I was a kid. Out of 3 countries, 5 states. This has been the best place
Shout out to St. James ER who, while we waited in the waiting room for almost three hours, explained that there were many serious cases going on and they would get to us ASAP. They kept in steady communication, and once we were in they kept right on us and got an orthopedic surgeon in at almost midnight within minutes to repair my son’s broken foot. Thanks to them, he’s a little sore, but in great spirits and felt comfortable and safe the whole time. Great job guys and gals!
On April 14th 2017, I was 25wks and 2 days pregnant. At 4am, I drove myself to St James Emergency Room after suffering from what I thought was round ligament pain for 10 hours. I told them I was pregnant and experiencing abdominal pain. They took a urine sample. Told me I had a uti. Told me to follow up with my OB in the morning. And sent me home. No stress test. I've had TWO incidents where my children have been overlooked and just were sent home to 'heal over time' which have required another hospital visit/stay. May of last year my then 6 year old and myself were advised to go to the ER when my child could not walk due to cellulitis. She was released from your care and told to just watch it. She was later admitted to Noyes the next day, where we stayed for the next couple days while she was being pumped full of antibiotics because of how the infection was spreading since prior to ... read more
6 hrs in the ER really. This is a bad experience, thank goodness that this was not an emergency.
