I hadn't been to the doctor for a while but when I called today to set up an appointment at St Elizabeth's Rising Sun, I was advised that I was no longer a patient because I hadn't been to the doctor for a while. They offered a new patient appointment in a month. What kind of health care is this? If you're being dropped as a patient, don't you think it would be a good idea that They would call or send a letter to tell you? I just wanted to Thank the Nurses and Nurse Assistants at the Florence Inpatient Spine Unit. I had back surgery back in October and they were WONDERFUL!!! Everyone was very patient, caring, and knowledgeable. Nurses tend not to make the best patients, especially when their bladder won’t cooperate! 😁 I believe my speedy recovery was from their EXCELLENT CARE!!! Thanks again Florence Inpatient Spine Unit!!! ❤️
My mom went today for a pre-surgery COVID test at Alexandria’s 7200 location. She arrived at 11:45 and first they couldn’t find the order, this was after confirming this is where she needed to be. Then they find it in the recycle/shred bin, and told her that the person who was supposed to be there to do the actual test REFUSED to do the test stating “we’re closed from 12-1 for lunch, I’ll do it when I get back from lunch.” This is unacceptable, unprofessional, and neglectful care. When you get a Wellness visit they also charge you for an office visit. I have also had summit medical bill Medicare for this as well as services not received. Since you sign authorization prior to treatment they say you cannot remove the charges. While the care is excellent their billing practices are shady. UC Health doesn’t do this.

St. Elizabeth Healthcare has assisted me in my quest to loose weight so I do not become Diabetic. Dr. Catanzaro is very involved with me during my apt. She has help me learn what to eat in my best interest.
