RecommendedNew visitation policy - one visitor per day and ONCE YOU LEAVE YOU CANNOT RETURN. I was NOT told this when my husband was admitted so, when I went back tonight, the information desk lady condescendingly told me the policy. Problem is NO ONE could explain the rationale behind the policy - only that it's hospital policy and they have to enforce it. Checked the website and no explanation there either. highly DO NOT recommend St E groups. They called and woke me at 6 am this morning to confirm I would still be in at 9 (snowy AM). Traffic on 75 was bad so at 5 min until appt time I called to let them knowI was on my way only to be told the Dr wasn't in and my appt was cancelled. No call, no notice whatsoever!!! Wanna reschedule, no, ok bye...terrible customer service! Bet you 100% if I'd no showed bc of the weather I'd be billed anyway....maybe I'll send her a bill for the waste of gas and time we sat in traffic. This is no... read more

Edgewood ER. They don't really care about you. You're just an annoyance to them. They have so many jaded nurses that the care is subpar.
