First let me say that no one ever wants to go to the hospital so I'm sure most people do not have much good to say about any hospital. However, when you DO have to go to one you'd like to trust they have only your best interest in mind when they are treating you. I did NOT feel this way with our most recent visit to this hospital. While I'm from here, I moved to VA when I got married. We had just finished driving for 2 days to be with my family for the Holidays when our 9 month old cold turned into an ear infection. So we went to Georgetown ER and were floored with thr amazing service. Smiling and happy faces greeted us, got us in a room, the Dr came in 15 mins later, immediately followed by registration who offered fresh tea or coffee, then the nurse came with meds, snd discharged us. The staff was great,helpful,and kind.The hospital was very clean and the food wasn't all that bad that is for hospital food. My stay helped me get back on my feet that was the main goal. Thank you so much.
The doctor was a complete asshole. They are slow and make it seem as though patients arent important. Ill make the trip to scott and white next!
They we're super good at taking care of me. Very friendly and kind.
This place is a joke! I was rushed via ambulance a few days ago with serious abdominal pain all they did was monitor the baby for 30 minutes and send me home. They didn't do a cervical exam or anything to check for any reason to explain the abdominal pain. I never saw a doctor. I will not be delivering here.
Big Shout out to St David's Georgetown. My client felt welcome. They didn't rush to do a c/section, but worked with the client to have the birth she wanted. The nurses and doctors were friendly.
Both of my babies were delivered here. Labor and Delivery is awesome! GREAT doctors! GREAT staff! Everyone is so kind and above and beyond friendly! Made me feel so comfortable.
