I guess this hospital is about luck..sometimes you're lucky to get good service and sometimes you don't. My kids are older now and have their own babies but when they were lil I had luck and no luck with them. One time they almost let my daughter die, she's alive because after being sent home with Tylenol I decided to go back out and take her to temple childrens(this was years ago) because I knew something was wrong and I was right..5 more minutes and she would've been dead but also had the luck to take my son one time when ... read more

I have been bringing my daughter to st Chris since she has been very Little. I live over 2 hours away and wouldn't take her anywhere else! The docs,nurses and therapists are all amazing!
I am switching my daughter to CHOP. We have been going to St. Chris for the past 5 years, and this hospital and staff just keep getting worse! The staff is rude, and clearly have no concern for their patients and families. The second you walk in the door the front staff taking your ids are busy talking to each other and on their phones rather than helping you and getting you going. I sincerely hate this hospital. Everyone says something different. Nobody is on the same page & it's beyond frustrating. My son has been admitted since Friday & it's constant bullshit.
St Christopher's hospital is one of the best in this area. My son is a severe hemophiliac and had to get a port placed. The surgical team was very nice and willing to help in any way they could. After recovery he was transferred to special care. The nurses and doctors who cared for my baby, made us feel that he was safe and well taken care of. We are staying at the Ronald McDonald house until he is ready to come home and everyone is so friendly. St Christopher's truly feels like a home away from home.
