I am not happy with the way my friend was treated at the ER. The staff was rude and just tried getting us up and out of there, instead of helping. I was not listened to, she was not listened to. The paperwork didn’t even show what I called about. Let’s just say mental illness isn’t believed to be a thing at this hospital. In no way shape or form was my friend okay to be released right away, and on top of having to leave, she wasn’t offered any help leaving. No one to help walk us out, or give us a wheelchair. Rude rude rude staff and nurse's. I never want to go there. Move me to another hospital or let me die. Use to be a good hospital. They don't care. Not going to bother going into depth. They don't deserve that much of my attention and time to explain.
Recommendednurses were great, and never seen so many hot nurses in one place before. lol

Great Community Hospital with amazing nurses
Was on vaca in MO. Husband went into cardiac arrest! Best nurses, dr, surgeons around! Husband is alive and well and on the road to recovery back in WI after quadruple bypass. Shout out to Dr Axford and NP John. 5 stars to the whole team! ❤
I have been in St. Josephs a few times since October with kidney stones and then bladder issues. WIthout a doubt, Dr. Blackburn, his staff, the entire staff on the fifth floor has been the most amazing group of people that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I was just released from the hospital again today and Marie, a nurse on the fifth floor had such a great personality, made me feel so comfortable, listened to every single one of my concerns and needs and accommodated when she could. Unfortunately this hospital could be better than what it is. It’s unfortunate that it’s name doesn’t match up to the care they provide. Although there are some very good nurses and doctors they need to weed out the weeds that ruin their reputation. My first visit was good but my second wasn’t so great. So maybe they can provide consistent 4-5 star care in the future. Some of the doctors/nurses are just bleh unbelievably unprofessional. In my opinion, St. Joesph does not staff appropriately nor give adequate care. My friend was admitted yesterday, does not have care from a doctor that can help him, and they will not transfer him to a hospital that will give him the care he needs. Someone please help him.
