I just found out when visiting my mom tonight she was struck out of anger by an employee. My mom served in the nursing field for 40 years and it turns my stomach to think this is a practice that is tolerated! The “professional” got removed to another floor. Really?!?!? Would you like your loved one struck? Shame on you! Disgusting!
Took my family member from Troy by ambulance and would NOT transfer her after she was stabilized and her Doctor's request to transfer to her regular hospital. They kept her 3 days, lied to the family and after they were told by family that she would either be transferred or taken by car, they let her go. BEWARE!
