Delievered my baby there on 4/24/18. I walked in because my water broke and the staff was great from the time I walked in. They were very patient with me and answered all my questions. I had constant communication with my MD while in labor. All my nurses were great. I blame it on labor and exhaustion for not remembering all there names but I remember Margie, Bre and Hannah.
Our lab tech today opened the door wearing a mask, and I asked if it was because she'd declined her influenza vaccine. She said it was, so I requested a new tech for my son's blood draw. He has Leukemia and is very immunocompromised. I'm also not particularly interested in receiving help from a medical professional who doesn't believe in medicine. RecommendedEVERY SINGLE PERSON that has provided care for mom the last 3 days has gone above and beyond! Everyone has been very pleasant. This will be moms last trip to a hospital as we are taking home on hospice to care for her. THANK YOU ALL FOR ALL YOU DO!!!
I have been with SSM for years. My primary care physician, my obgyn, for my sons pediatrician... Anyways this Monday I went to make a payment thru MyChart with my HSA card. I kept getting a message telling me my card was declined. I called my cardholder and the transactions were successful for over $1700. The amount I owed wasn't close to $1700. No one will answer my calls or return my calls to refund my money due to their faulty My Chart bill payment system. To top it off it still shows I owe the full balance. As much as I ... read more
Stay away from this place if you are having a baby. The horror they put my daughter and I through is still fresh in my mind 6 months later. After working in the nursing field prior to giving birth, the way they treated me, ignored my requests, gave me the same nurse I requested NOT to have, refuse to give me my meds when they were due, refused to help me with my daughter when I had questions, kept me in a room that was over 80° without the a.c. working, sat around the nurses stations chatting while my call light was going of... read more
We welcomed our son, our second child to be born at St Joe’s West, on this past Thursday, Feb 8th, 2018. The Family Birthplace at this hospital is amazing and the L&D nursing staff is TOP NOTCH! Bre, Chris, Anna, and Britt all were assigned to our family throughout our stay and I can’t express the many thanks we owe them and all the rest of the staff!
