The ferry takes passengers, autos, RVs, tour buses, motorcycles, bicycles, and commercial trucks across Lake Michigan between Ludington, Michigan and Manitowoc, Wisconsin from mid-May through mid-October.

First time on the S.S. Badger yesterday and it was a very nice trip. Time passed by so quickly. The amount of things to do and see on the ship were amazing. The offered Bingo, a theater lounge, a gift shop (packed full of goodies), a museum/history room, lounge chairs on deck, a snack bar and a cafe offering amazing views. The cars were loaded and unloaded very quick! I would use the Ferry again without a second thought.
Took my first trip with my 3 year old son on 8/28/2017 from Manitowoc to Ludington. We had such a fun time that trip did not even feel like 4 hours. He played a lot and had so much fun walking throughout the ship. I am planning on being a long time customer and fan. And what a cool pice of Great Lakes history to experience!

A good way to cross the lake. Very relaxing. Much better than goin thru Chicago.
Enjoyed a full days experience on the SSBadger. The history is what interested us but we were completely surprised by the staff. Food and many activities. The boat is clean with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Fully stocked bars and very good menu. Wonderful experience for every age. Young children to seniors. We rode over in the afternoon from Manitowoc and enjoyed dinner in Luddington Michigan. Headed back with the sun setting over the water. awesome day
