I came in with severe abdominal pain and turns out it was a kidney stone and I was admitted. It was a little rough down in the ER waiting because I was in so much pain and then I had to wait for a bed so I was in a hallway bed that was partitioned off. Through all of that, the staff were attentive, nice, and helpful so it wasn't a bad experience at all.
The ER staff was exceptional. In three hours, I was seen by Mike the PA, had blood drawn, got an EKG, received an xray and CT scan. AND got the results. Kenny (RN), Alex (tech) and Vanessa were great. The director should be proud.

All the nurses and doctors we're great and very professional at all times. Never treated me in any way but respectful and I am very happy that I chose spring valley for the 2nd time.
I sit here with pain in my back and I am miserable. It hurts less when I lay down but they won't put me in a bed. They said all beds are gone but I have watched them move empty beds down the hall for hours. I swore I would never come here again after an incident here 2 years ago and now I am sorry I didn't keep that promise. I would walk out now if I thought my insurance would still pay for what they have already done and cover me at a good hospital.
Staff were very calm and helpful. Wish the base hospital is like that.
Well, I don't think anyone enjoys spending time in a hospital and I was there because my husband was admitted last night. He was in the ER until 3:30 a.m. when they moved him up to "observation" on the 3rd floor in a makeshift "room". They are literally using the lobby to house patients. Very small spaces, no television and a LOT of noise. He is going to be exhausted by the time he gets discharged.
