Had two rooms booked for a week but only stayed one night. Unfortunately the changes that were made weren't for the positive. Stayed here two years ago and it was wonderful. This year, the staff weren't polite at all. They changed the beds from queen to double, made the showers smaller. The food and drinks were ridiculously expensive. We booked the rest of our week at Margaritaville(where we stayed last year) and it's so much better! Not sure how it's possible to spend 100 million and make it worse. Beautifully hotel with great location but I think they need to improve in services, my room doesn't access to balcony because had a door blocked, doesn't have a fridge in the room. I stay only one night
Beautiful Resort, but way overpriced!! Breakfast was $35 plus 18% gratuity for a buffet and food was not even very good. All the restaurants in this resort are way overpriced!! They also charge you a Resort fee of $30 a day for things you don't even use but the one thing we wanted to use on the list we were charged for, beach chairs, they were all gone!! Run for your lives! Worst hotel in the state of Florida! Supposed to waive resort and food charge for my inconvenience. All charges on bill that just sent to email. Told all day Diplomat would contact me multiple times. Full review to follow. Avoid this place like liquid rabies. Too bad no negative stars
Over priced! Beautiful property but narrow beach and you need to get up at the crack of dawn to secure a chair. Food is average but pricey and drinks are $$$.
Not good! It was a complete disappointment. We had stayed at this hotel last year and loved it but this time was a disaster! Valet people will mistreat you if you choose to self park. I paid extra for a front ocean room but the outside it's under construction so all we got was a wooden bolted door and ropes. The next day they changed us to another room 1065 which had no balcony but an excellent view. When we arrived the room felt extremely hot. Really disappointed in the hospitality. Arrived at 3:15 with two young kids after a long flight, room was not ready until 20 min after check in time of 4 pm! Honestly, really disappointing given that we are staying for 4 nights and are arriving from out of the country and travelling with kids...All of which the hotel knew. Hotel is under construction, scafford attached to our balcony, told it would be moved, it never was, compeletely blocked our view and posed a safety issue to our kids.
