Bought a pride gogo scooter from spin life for $549. Two years later transaxle seized up and spin life wants $485 for just the part. Never again will i buy from spin life.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! VERY NON-RESPONSIVE! We ordered a Hoyer for several thousand dollars in Jan, 2017. Our loved one took a turn for the worse and had to be placed in hospice, so we called to cancel the order the week of Jan. 23 and were told the order was cancelled and we would receive a verification email... we did not receive the email, but instead, received two boxes with straps for the Hoyer. DEPLORABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE: I had high hopes of purchasing a hard to find mobility ramp with this company. The initial customer service representative took all of my information and claimed she called back the same day. After leaving two messages for her I asked to speak to someone else and got the rudest fellow ever. He hung up on me after refusing to get the info I had given there company the previous day. I talked to a saleswoman about needing a lift for my new power wheelchair. I gave her the make and model number and she recommended the outlander for my pick-up. Upon review I asked if the clamping hold down arm would work, she assured me it would. When I received the lift and had it installed, the hold down arm would obviously not work. A call to their service techs revealed the hold down arm was only for scooters and not power wheelchairs. I purchased an electric scooter from this company. They advertise they will meet competitor's pricing so I decided to buy from them. I later learned that I could get reimbursement from Medicare for this item. However, SpinLife does not work with Medicare because they do not meet Medicare's pricing requirements. So, I cannot get reimbursement. Had I known this, I would have purchased from a company that did work with Medicare as the reimbursement would have been far better than any pricing adjustments with SpinLife. Also, why... read more
