As Executor of my mother's Will, I was selling her flat. It took a long time to find a buyer (i think that was due to the type of property) but once a sale was agreed Spencer and Leigh (S&L) were very good. The buyer wanted to complete in a very short space of time and S&L were very good at obtaining information from the buyers side, acting as a go between with the buyer and helping the sale move along. All in all a positive experience.

Very happy with the way the sale of my property was handled. Generally, it was easy to access people by phone, as well as email, and I felt I was kept informed all the way through. I had previously rented the property via Spencer & Leigh, which also proved to be a positive and easy to manage process over 6 years. I can highly recommend Spencer and Leigh, big thanks to Sarah and Simon for all of their efforts in selling a property for us. We found that S+L were much better to work with than the bigger chains of estate agents in Brighton, they actively called prospective buyers, followed up in a timely manner and were really proactive in chasing down a buyer for us over a period of months during a sluggish period in the market. Great service. Lots of viewings and interest, kept informed by txt. There were 3 offers but not contacted for every discussion, which was great for me and definitely felt less stressful. I was contacted with the offers/buyers situations, which enabled me to make a decision with the family. For us, it was not about getting top price but also that it continued to be a family home. James and team understood this and were supportive throughout. Thank you
